Schedule A Pre-Application Meeting!
Prior to submitting your application, contact the Planning Department to schedule an appointment for a pre-application meeting. Please be prepared with the address of the property, a description of what is being proposed, a site plan or survey, and any proposed project plans. Pre-application meetings are required prior to submitting any of the following zoning applications.
- Subdivision Plats
- Site Plan Review
- Board of Zoning Appeals
- Zoning Map (Rezoning) and Zoning Text Amendments
- Comprehensive Plan Amendments
It is encouraged to contact Kiawah Island Architectural Review Board (KIARB) https://arb.kiawahisland.com at 843-768-3419 and Kiawah Island Community Association Livability (KICA) https://kica.us at 843-725-5560 to ensure compliance with the required Restrictive Covenant Affidavit.
