    Do you need a Contractor Registration?

    Any projects requiring a building permit also requires the contractor to be registered with the City of Streetsboro.
    Any project requiring a building permit with the homeowner doing the work requires the homeowner to submit a notarized Homeowner Affidavit form.

    What is needed to register as a contractor?

    Click the submittal tab above to review all requirements prior to applying.

    How to apply to be a registered contractor?

    Once all required documents are gathered, click the Apply tab above for application.
    There is a $100.00 fee for the first 3 trades being registered under one company. Additional fees are required for subsequent trades.
    Applications may be reviewed by clicking the View tab above.

    How long is registration good for?

    Each registration is good for the existing calendar year, expiring on Dec. 31 of the current year.
    Click the Renew tab above to register for the new year. Bond must expire at the end of the current year. Please call us if registering after 10/31. Bond must be signed by contractor.
