1. How do I know if I need to obtain a license?
There are different requirements for licenses and registrations. Please see our “Do You Need a License" page for more information.

2. What happens if my license expires?
- If you are a vendor/solicitor, you will need to renew if you would like to continue working in the City of Bryan.
- Manufactured Home Communities and Credit Access Businesses must reapply each year.
- The Home Builder Incentive Program requires an updated 380 Agreement annually. This will need to be renewed in order to continue taking advantage of the waiving of certain permit fees.

3. What happens if my contractor registration expires?
You will need to renew your registration before you can proceed in the portal. -
4. What expiration dates should I be mindful of?
Most contractor registrations have three possible expiration dates:- Annual city registration
- State license
- Certificate of insurance
