 Learn about when you need a building permit, what information you'll need and how to apply.

The Building Inspector is responsible for reviewing all permit applications, including construction of buildings, signs, swimming pools, driveways, storage sheds, porches/patios, remodeling and other structures.  The City of Navasota, building codes and ordinances have been enacted and adopted to ensure that all buildings are built and designed to adopted construction standards.

Hours of Operation: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Inspection Hours:

Monday - Friday:
7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Fire Inspections:

Fire Inspections are conducted by our third party Fire Marshal and those inspections can be requested via email or phone at (936) 825-2961.
