Citizenserve is cloud-based digital community development software. We offer permitting, planning and zoning, licensing, request tracking, and code enforcement solutions. In this video you can watch a demonstration of the following functionality:
Submit a Digital Community Development Application (Building Permit)
First, a contractor Registers for a Portal Account. Then the contractor submits a building permit application online. Additionally, citizens can edit their applications, make payments, send messages, and request inspections online.
Review the Community Development Application
After the submission, we log in as staff and review the Citizenserve home page. Your Engagement Manager configures the home page for every subscriber. Also, staff can easily change their home page to display the tools that help them work. Staff automatically receive the application for review, approval, or to send back for more information. Cool tips about citizenserve:
- Each application can have its own workflow route.
- Reviews can be consecutive or concurrent.
- Use the Common Comment Library to include commonly used phrases in the review.
- Add manual comments, send emails, and upload documents to the system.
- Add shapes, comments, and calculate measurements with the integrated Document Markup tool.
- System conditions warn or stop staff from going rogue.
Once approved, Staff or the citizen print the permit card and request inspections.
Digital Planning and Zoning Module
In the same vein, Citizenserve's Planning and Zoning module uses the same tools and project type as a building permit. In addition, citizenserve workflows can track events such as design review meetings, city council meetings, and public hearings. As a result, we can generate meeting agendas and minutes from the database.
Digital Code Enforcement Module
First, citizens submit code complaints through the citizen portal. Next, the complaint is sent to staff for review. Then Staff creates a code case for a junk vehicle and overgrown weeds. Citizenzserve integrates with GIS systems to display GIS layers on a map. The Code Officer has full access to citizenserve through any browser-enabled device in the field. Also, the officer can add violations, take or upload photos, and produce letters. Want to see more on citizenserve's code enforcement module? Digital Health Inspections
Health inspections are usually tied to a health license. We will build your online inspections to record the required data. Then we'll create reports that display that data in the format you need.
